AI-Based Energy Conservation Assistant
In this hackathon, students will create a simple digital solution that helps understand and reduce energy usage. The program is designed to introduce children to coding and basic AI concepts in a structured and age-appropriate manner, with a strong focus on learning and practical application.
Through guided activities, students will explore how technology can be used responsibly to solve real-life environmental problems, helping them develop problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
What Your Child Will Learn
By participating in this hackathon, students will learn to:
- Understand and analyze simple energy usage data
- Create basic automated reports using code
- Apply rule-based logic and beginner-level AI concepts to make smart decisions
This program focuses on learning by doing and helps children gain confidence in coding while developing awareness about energy conservation and sustainability.
Learning Support (4 Online Sessions)
Students receive 4 guided online sessions to prepare for the hackathon:
- Orientation: Problem overview & hackathon flow
- C Programming: Logic building & basic data handling
- Python: Simple data analysis & automation
- AI Basics: Rule-based decisions & basic predictions
(All sessions are beginner-friendly and conducted online.)
